  1. Yellow Tigercat forestry machine working in a snowy clearing among felled logs

    01. Tigercat Industries

    Product Compliance Intern

    September 2026 – PresentCambridge, Ontario

    • Designed a custom chain-stopping mechanism and drivetrain assembly in SolidWorks, performing FEA under approximately 50 kN loads to evaluate structural integrity.
    • Conducted risk assessments, failure analyses, and functional safety reviews of mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Performed EMC/EMI testing on forestry equipment and audited 20+ technical documents against industry standards.
  2. Row of grey S&C switchgear cabinets being assembled on the factory floor

    02. S&C Electric

    Lean Performance Systems Assistant

    January 2026 – April 2026Etobicoke, Ontario

    • Developed a centralized inventory tracking system for 1,000+ part numbers, improving material traceability and shop-floor visibility.
    • Built a FlexSim production simulation using data from 20+ time studies to analyze bottlenecks, throughput, and resource utilization.
    • Implemented Kanban pull systems across workstations to improve material flow, reduce work-in-progress, and support lean manufacturing.
  3. Hartmann warehouse with rows of stacked, wrapped pallets of molded fibre trays

    03. Hartmann North America

    Production Intern

    June 2025 – August 2025Brantford, Ontario

    • Troubleshot and optimized automated manufacturing equipment, contributing to a 10% reduction in downtime.
    • Applied root-cause analysis and lean manufacturing alongside production teams, contributing to a 15% improvement in operational efficiency.
    • Conducted daily quality inspections on 1,000+ units, supporting process control and ISO-compliant manufacturing standards.
  4. Yellow Pioneer overhead cranes spanning an industrial shed

    04. Pioneer Cranes & Elevators

    Engineering Intern

    May 2024 – July 2024Punjab, India

    • Designed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings of crane components in SolidWorks, applying DFMA principles to improve machining accuracy and assembly speed by 15%.
    • Performed structural FEA on crane assemblies to evaluate load distribution, durability, and safety requirements.
    • Established 5S procedures, including equipment calibration, testing organization, and maintenance documentation.
